QR Code Generator Guide

Create GS1-compliant Digital Links for your products, including dynamic data attributes.

Creating a QR Code

The QR Code Generator allows you to create GS1-compliant Digital Links. You can include various data points like batch numbers, serial numbers, and expiry dates.

  1. Select a Product from the dropdown. This automatically fills in the GTIN (AI 01).
  2. (Optional) Enter a Batch/Lot Number (AI 10).
  3. (Optional) Enter a Serial Number (AI 21).
  4. (Optional) Select dates for Expiry, Production, Packaging, etc.
  5. Click Save & Generate to create the QR code.

Managing Saved QR Codes

Your saved QR codes appear in the list below the builder. Use the icons in the "Actions" column to manage them:

Download High-Res PNGDownloads a high-resolution (2048px) image of the QR code for testing and verification purposes.
Test LinkOpens the destination URL in a new tab. Use this to verify where the QR code will redirect users.
DeletePermanently removes the QR code from your dashboard. The link will no longer work if it was dynamic.

Production Warning

The QR Generator is provided to help test Wrangles and is not designed as a tool for creating production-ready QR Codes for product packaging. LinkWrangler accepts no liability for any errors or financial losses resulting from the use of these codes on production packaging.
